Knowing and being known - it's is one of the great joys of life. A depth of relationships with a small group of people where you are taken seriously, but not too seriously, and where the grace and way of Jesus is taken most seriously of all. This is the vision of Growth Groups.
Growth Groups are designed to be both relaxed and at the same time, focussed.
Meeting in different people's homes on a weekly basis gives planty of opportunity for getting to know people in a relaxed context. Often the groups have dinner together, as well as read and discuss the Bible, and pray for each other. It's where the genuine practical detail of the Christian life is worked out.
At the same time, the Growth Group program is focussed around our mission statement, unpacking what it means to be fully devoted children of God as those who know love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ, his church and his world, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of God the Father. Different modules within this are run each school term, with the school holiday weeks set aside as an opportunity for different kinds of Bible study.
